BADGER REGION ON-LINE REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Welcome to the most efficient way to register as a member of Badger Region/USA Volleyball. Following are step by step directions for getting registered. If you have any problems, call the region office, 414-443-1011 or email jennyhahn@wi.rr.com

Instructions for Club Directors to Register Tryouts

Attention: Junior members should NOT send forms to the region office BUT to the club they will be joining and/or each club they are trying out for.

DIRECTIONS FOR ADULT TEAM REPS AND JUNIOR CLUB DIRECTORS - REGISTERING MEMBERS

If you need to add a player to your team that has already registered or is currently registered with a junior club, use the "find" feature to find teh person you are looking for, and the program will let you add them to your adult club and then be assigned to a team.  This is unlike the junior clubs, where they would be denied since the player was a member of a different junior club.

STEP 1:  Collect Information

• Collect membership forms for all coaches, directors, chaperones, etc.
• Check individual forms to insure that they are completely filled out, including social security number and signatures on both sides of form.
• Check individual membership forms for all players to insure that they are completely filled out including:  social security number, date of birth, and both parent and player signatures on both pages of the membership form.
• Check birthdates of players to make sure that they will be registered in the proper age group.

STEP 2:  Log On

Log on to www.signuptoplay.com . The registration program will take you step by step through the process:

• Create a Club Account
• Complete Club Director Registration
• Create Teams
• Create, Find, and/or Import Player Information
• Create Staff
• Associate Players with Team Rosters

Once you have entered all your staff and player data and assigned them to teams, you will be able to print out a Team Registration Form for each team. Attach the player and staff membership forms to the Team Registration Form for each team you have registered. Calculate the total fees due: membership fees and team fees. Write a check for the total amount due. Send complete membership package, forms and fees to:

Once your payment and forms have been received in the Region office, they will be verified. Once everything has been verified, you will receive notification via email that your registration has been satisfactorily completed. You will then be able to go back to STP and print our team rosters with your membership numbers.

All incomplete forms will be returned to you, causing a delay in a team’s registration. Do not require signature for delivery. If someone is not available to accept your package, it will delay your registration.

Step 1: Log on to www.signuptoplay.com

Step 2: Create an account!

a. Select Account Type – in this case – Adult Member

b. Type in your information to see if you may already exist in the database, and click "Find Me" (This is unlikely for 2002-2003)

c. If you are found, your user name and password will be shown. Just close that window, log out of signuptoplay.com and then log back on using your Username and Password.   Then go to Step 3.

d. If you are not found – click the Create Login box.

e. Type in information in all boxes. For the box requesting a USAV number, leave that blank.  Once completed - click the Continue box.

f. Type in your user name (4-10 characters) and your password (4-10 characters). Re-enter your Password and click Continue.  You will then see a box pop up indicating that you have successfully created your login.

g. Write down your username and password and keep it safe!

h. Log back into signuptoplay.com using your new username and password.

Step 3: After you’ve logged on, you will see a screen with a task bar on the left.

   Home = The page that is displayed when you logged in.
   My Info = Your personal information, the place where you will print off your USAV form.
   Club Info = The place where you will affiliate yourself with a tea/club
   Event Info = Displays a list of events currently using signuptoplay.com registration. (Mainly     junior events at this time.)
   Password = Displays your user name and your password (concealed).

To continue with registering, go to My Info. Fill out as much information as possible on that form. Then click Save. A message will appear indicating that some information is missing, or that your information has been saved. If information is missing, fill it in, then click on Save again.

Step 4: Printing Your USAV/Badger Region Individual Membership Form

1. Click on the USAV form button. The Individual Membership Form will appear with all

of your information. Click the Print button on the browser. Make sure that your printer is set to .25" margins to ensure that it firs on one page.

2. Click on the USAV Policy page. Click the Print button on the browser. Make sure

that your printer is set to .25 margins to ensure that it firs on one page.

3. Make sure all of the information on the forms are correct. Read the USAV policy.

Then sign both of your forms under the Individual’s Signature section. (There is a total of 2 signatures required.)

Step 5: If you are going to join with full membership, mail those forms and your check to:

Membership Fees are listed on the individual membership form.

One Event Members

If you are just participating in an adult tournament and are paying a one-event fee, follow the steps above and bring your forms to the event and give to the tournament director with your $3 fee. For every Friendship event that you attend, you can simply log on to STP and print out your forms. There is no need to fill out a form every time.

Short on Time? Tournament tomorrow morning? This morning?

Step 15: If you are going to join as a full member, and there is no time to mail it to the region office, print out your forms and bring them, with your $35 fee to the tournament director.

At the region office, we will have immediate access to individuals who register on-line. The minute we receive the payments and forms in the office (either from individuals or from tournament directors) we can verify your info on STP, and email your membership number back to you.
