Referee/Scorekeeper Clinic Information
The purpose of the clinics is to provide training and instruction for volleyball club players and coaches to be able to perform the following officiating responsibilities during tournaments:

--First Referee
--Second referee
--Scorekeeper
--Line judge

All Badger Region referees must attend one clinic annually and may attend any Badger Region sanctioned clinic listed here.

Rules Meetings
The following clinic is designed for new and inexperieinced officials to offer traiining i practical first and second referee training by participating in an on-court training sesson.  The goal behind the training is to lessen the learning curve an dprovide experience in a non-match situation.  The cost of the clinic is $5.00.   We appreciate if you register in advance by sending a note with payment to the Badger Region office that you would like to participate in this clinic.  Walk-ins will be welcome for a $10 fee at the door.

Scorekeeping Certification Clinics
These clinics are designed for certified officials and other Badger Region members who wish to certify as scorekeepers.

The purpose of each clinic is to provide training for individuals interested in pursuing a Provisional/Regional Scorekeeper Certification. The Badger Region is working toward the goal of having a pool of Provisional certified scorekeepers to be available to scorekeep/scorekeep monitor at region hosted events.

Clinic Outline: Adult/Junior Scorekeeper Certification
1. 1 hour classroom instruction and/or home pre-clinic review of USAV Scorekeeper procedure document.

2. Score keep a minimum of 2 matches.

3. Libero track for a minimum of 1 match.

4. Participants need to pass the on-court scorekeeping training, as determined by the clinicia(s).

5. Take the on-line scorekeeper exam.  Exam must then be corrected to 100%, verified by the Scorekeeper Chair.
