Badger Region is the membership organization for USA Volleyball in the State of Wisconsin. Whether you are interested in playing indoors or outdoors, if you are a junior player (ages 10-18) or an adult (ages 19-???), an official, coach or spectator we think you might find something of interest.

World League 2009
 The world league is back for 2009. 2008 was a great year for the USA Men's National Team as they fought their way to the World League Championship Title. As we all know they continued that hot streak through to the Gold medal stand in Beijing. Looking for a chance to see the USA Men this year? Have a look at their 2009 World League flyer.
USAV State of the Game
In an effort to keep members informed on what is going on with Volleyball in our country, USA Volleyball the NGB (National Governing Body) for our sport, has published a "State of the Game" report for the first quarter of 2009. Please read and learn all about what is going on with Volleyball these days.
Pan-American Cup - Miami
 USA Volleyball is hosting its first-ever Women’s Pan American Cup, which serves as a qualifying event into the 2010 FIVB World Grand Prix. The event, which will tentatively have three of the four semifinalists from the 2008 Olympic Games, is the largest international volleyball event hosted by USA Volleyball in terms of country participation. Brazil won the 2008 Olympic Games gold medal by defeating silver medalist USA in the title match, while three-time Olympic Games gold medalist Cuba finished fourth in the 2008 Olympic Games. All three teams are currently ranked in the top four in the current FIVB World Rankings.
Team USA has not hosted a women’s senior-level international tournament since the 1998 FIVB World Championship Qualifier tournament in 1998. Due to international scheduling and professional league commitments, matches on domestic soil have become a rarity with only seven contests against foreign teams in the most recent Olympic quadrennial (2005-2008).
2009 Pan American Cup is being run simultaneously with the USA Girls’ Junior Olympic Championships in Miami creating a major volleyball event.

On October 2, 2009 the International Olympic Committee selects the Host City for the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Chicago is one of four Candidate City finalists. We need your help to bring the Games back to the United States. Join the Volleyball Challenge!
Chicago can deliver a spectacular Games experience for the athletes, fans, and the Olympic Movement. Our plan is woven into the city's beautiful lakefront, wonderful parks, and vibrant downtown. A Chicago Games will leave a legacy that will inspire young people accross the country to participate in sport and strengthen the Olympic Movement.
The Volleyball Challenge aims to enlist supporters, recruit volunteers, and raise funds from across America. Sign up, and earn points for all the support you generate. These points can be cashed in for official Chicago 2016 gear and other special prizes (like custom warmups) for you, your team, and your club. Your club can even win a visit from an Olympian!
Best of all, you can help Chicago 2016 win the honor of hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Games--right here in America.
The Volleyball Challenge is a support-building and fund-raising contest to back to bid. It is eassy to play. You only need to go

Then click on the "directors: Register your club" to register your club for this program - and compete to win cool Chicago 2016 prizes.
After you register, your team coaches sign up your club's teams, then email their team members to join the fun. As players (or friends and family) register, they are given a pesonalized web page that helps them participate. They reach out to their friends and families and ask them to "click their suppport" for the bid, register as a volunteer, or donate. ADULT TEAMS, JUNIOR TEAMS - JOIN THE FUN AND BRING THE OLYMPICS TO CHICAGO!!!!
